Recently, I received an email with the 7 ways to know that you’ve found the dream job. Well, I can tell you the signs you’ve found the perfect job and it’ll be shorter than 7. Only 5 signs to know you’ve found the perfect job. They are as follows:
Ladies, there is no job in the entire world that is perfect.
Annoying Susan in accounting will always exist (my apologies to any Susan in accounting. You’re not annoying).
The fact of the matter is that it doesn’t matter if you’ve found your dream company at a dream salary, there will always be things you don’t love.
Sick days are limited. Vacation time has a limit. Even at my current part-time situation, I have reasonable PTO. But what the heck does that mean?
The limit does exist.
There will always be limitations. Unless you freaking create the dream.
If you decide your passions are worth it, create something uniquely your own. It will ALWAYS be the perfect “job” for you.
Sick days? Don’t have meaning anymore.
Vacation time? Unlimited. You can work on the beaches of The Bahamas and your business won’t skip a beat.
Want to attend your kids school play? Don’t ask for time off. You create it.
Want to make 70k a year? You set your prices.
Want to make $7 million a year? You can!
The point I’m trying to make is that nothing will ever be perfect, unless it’s uniquely designed by you.
We are so fortunate to live in a world where we can take our passions and skill sets and monetize them.
More importantly, we can make a difference.
We can make a difference in the lives of our families, friends, clients, clients’ families, clients’ friends, etc.
See the chain reaction here?
Every single day I hear from women whom I have known for years and they want to know how I’m so happy and how they can achieve my level of happiness. One simple answer. I live life on my terms.
You too can live life on your terms. If I can do it, literally anyone can do it.
Comment below with how you’re living life on your terms or how you would live life if you were pursuing your passions. I want to hear from you!
